Job Description: Research activities focusing on non-European areas, technological development, human population’s relationship with natural resources and the environment, and the study of settlement strategies of ancient populations.

Duration of Employment: May 1, 2024 – June 30, 2028
Starting Date: May 1, 2024
Workload: 0,5 – 0,75 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent)

Requirements:

  • Completed Ph.D.;
  • Scientific focus in the field of the Palaeolithic and Neolithic technologies outside of Europe;
  • Clear understanding of specific research topics for own investigation within the next 3-5 years, in line with personal scientific projects;
  • Aptitude and motivation for scientific work;
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
  • Strong communication skills, and work ethics.
