Biography

Research specialist in theoretical and landscape archaeology; author and co-creator of the central information system of Czech archaeology (Archaeological Map of the CR); editor of books presenting archaeological heritage to the wide public; director of extensive excavations in Roztoky (Central Bohemia), a unique early medieval site from the 6-7th cent. AD.
