Biography

She studied biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Charles University in Prague. In her postgraduate studies, she focused on the transformation of the landscape in the Middle Ages and on the method of pollen analysis. Human impact on the development of vegetation during Holocene is her main interest. Furthermore, she deals with reconstruction of the vegetation of human agglomerations from cultural layers or pollen analyzes of food remains from bronze vessels.
