Since 1992 he has been leading rescue archaeological excavations in Žatec. Since 2013, he has been working on extensive research in the foreground of the Bílina mine, where an early medieval burial site with two early medieval churches and a chancel from the 14th century is gradually being investigated, as well as the position of German anti-aircraft artillery from World War II, which defended the “Hydrák” in Mostek for the production of synthetic fuels from brown coal. In 2018, research began on the extinct medieval village of Nesvětice.
