Výstava | The Past Beneath the Wheels (16-31 July 2025), Nupaky

The Institute of Archaeology of the CAS, Prague in cooperation with the Institute of Archaeological Heritage of Central Bohemia would like to invite you to the outdoor panel exhibition “The Past Beneath the Wheels: Archaeology on the Prague Bypass”.

This panel exhibition presents the results of extensive archaeological fieldwork that preceded the construction of the missing section of the Prague Bypass between D1 and Běchovice, carried out since May 2024. The exhibition is complemented by a mobile application “Past under the Wheels”, which will allow visitors to view selected artefacts in 3D.

From 16 to 31 July, the exhibition will be on display in Nupaky, Průběžná 568. There is a public lecture by Monika Psohlavcová (IAP) in Společenské centrum Nupaky scheduled for Thursday 17 July, 18:00.

The exhibition will then be presented in Říčany, Uhříněves, Kolovraty and Běchovice.
