Výstava | The Past Beneath the Wheels (1-31 August 2025), Říčany
The Institute of Archaeology of the CAS, Prague in cooperation with the Institute of Archaeological Heritage of Central Bohemia would like to invite you to the outdoor panel exhibition “The Past Beneath the Wheels: Archaeology on the Prague Bypass”.
This panel exhibition presents the results of extensive archaeological fieldwork that preceded the construction of the missing section of the Prague Bypass between D1 and Běchovice, carried out since May 2024. The exhibition is complemented by a mobile application “Past under the Wheels”, which will allow visitors to view selected artefacts in 3D.
From 1 to 31 August, the exhibition will be on display at Masarykovo náměstí in Říčany.
The opening will take place on Friday, 31 August at 5:00 p.m.
The exhibition will then be presented in Uhříněves, Kolovraty and Běchovice.
