Exhibition | The Past Beneath the Wheels (19-25 September 2025), Kolovraty
The Institute of Archaeology of the CAS, Prague in cooperation with the Institute of Archaeological Heritage of Central Bohemia would like to invite you to the outdoor panel exhibition “The Past Beneath the Wheels: Archaeology on the Prague Bypass”.
This panel exhibition presents the results of extensive archaeological fieldwork that preceded the construction of the missing section of the Prague Bypass between D1 and Běchovice, carried out since May 2024. The exhibition is complemented by a mobile application “Past under the Wheels”, which will allow visitors to view selected artefacts in 3D.
From 19 to 25 September, the exhibition will be on display at Praha-Kolovraty (in front of Library and Infocentre, Mírová 20/54, Praha-Kolovraty).
The exhibition will then be presented in Běchovice.
