Language of the conference:
The official language will be English.

Conference fee:
130 EUR (90 for students and PhD students)
The conference fee covers the conference materials, and coffee breaks.
Payment instructions

Lunches are not covered by the conference fee. Participants can take advantage of a restaurant within the museum or enjoy restaurants nearby the museum.

Conference proceedings:
A separate volume of Conference proceedings will not be published. Instead, 30 papers will be selected for a special issue of the journal Archeologické rozhledy. These papers will have to be eligible in terms of originality and scientific value, and they will have to undergo the regular peer-review process in the journal. Other papers can be published in other Czech peer-reviewed journals such as Archeologia technica.

Conference excursion:
The conference excursion will take place on Friday, June 2. A coach will take conference delegates to the Mining museum in Příbram, which is located roughly 60 km south-west of Prague.

HMS prizes:
Two prizes sponsored by the Historical Metallurgy Society will be awarded at this event for the best oral presentation and poster presentation by a student (or recent graduate within 12 months of graduation) at the meeting as chosen by those members of HMS Council present plus members of the conference scientific committee.
