Help - Search Articles

Back

The bibliography was elaborated with aim to record all important information about published articles. Thanks to the long journal existence with many changes of the journal layout and articles organization it was sometimes a difficult work. The bibliography contains all articles, even the shortest ones. A special care was dedicated to record the relationship between articles (e.g. corrections, appendixes, polemics). These data are accessible in the Note field inside the Details page. Although a serious attention was given to achieve the highest quality, authors welcome any comments relating to the correctness of the records.

The search engine allows you to search using the following parameters:

The result depends on the parameters entered. To search also uncertain authors please check appropriate choice (the first published volumes often contain articles signed with an acronym only - a possible author is given in the note field). Similarly the choice Search also in summary extends searching of article titles.

You can use a range of values at searching for Volume and Published Date parameters or enter only a value From (search only for the value entered) or finally restrict searching only using the upper limit - filling the field To only.

Example 1. Searching for volumes XV-XXII

  1. The field Volume from is to be filled with: 15
  2. The field to is to be filled with: 22

Example 2. Searching for volumes XX

  1. The field Volume from is to be filled with: 20
  2. The field to is to be left empty

Example 3. Searching for volumes LIV

  1. The field Volume from is to be left empty
  2. The field to is to be filled with: 54

To make searching more comfortable you can eliminate influence of characters with diacritics.

Full diacritics
Search exactly by search conditions.
Ignore spec. diacritics
The characters uncommon in the Czech language are ignored (like the character è in the word latènský) - helpful mostly for the Czech environment.
No diacritics
All diacritic characters are ignored. This allows you to search without any need of the Czech keyboard as it is uncommon in the non-Czech environment.

Searching begins after pressing the Search button or just pressing Enter. Search results are displayed in the bottom part of the page. You can find more information after doubleclicking on the appropriate table item.
