Archaeological map represents an electronic publication of the field documentation obtained during systematic archaeological excavations conducted on the Early Medieval acropolis of the Libice stronghold in the years 1949-1953 and 1967-1973. Eventhough the earcheological field work provided many extremely significant observations, only some of them have been published subsequently. Sometimes the only solution represents interpretation of field circumstances without the possibility of their comparison with the original field documentation. Archaeological map contains approx. 900 photographs, more than 300 plans from the original field documentation, and a geographical information system enabling localization of approx. 100 000 finds. Results of non-destructive research conducted at the site in the year 2008-2010 offer an extremely interesting comparison and perhaps also foundation for further archaeological research.
