The aim of this project is to be the first to apply new theoretical and methodological approaches to archeological materials. The results of this project will be used in a synthesis and critical evaluation of theoretical issues pertaining to currentproblems of the Neolithic (5600-4200 BC). With these results we will be able to answer the question, “to what degree can the data from Neolithic sites contribute to the production of new knowledge and understanding of the Czech and European Neolithic?”This approach will involve the revision of archeological records, digitization and transformation of data, micro-region analysis, studies of social and ancestral influence, as well as a critical evaluation of present theories and deductive reasoningapplied to the Neolithic.
